What do I need to bring?
Tour ticket, pay on board kitty, small bag, hat, bathers, towel, change of clothes, personal toiletries and medicines, sturdy walking shoes, sunscreen and insect repellent, water bottle, camera and extra batteries/memory card, sleeping bag (can hire from us if required), torch (flashlight) if you have one and a real sense of adventure.
What do you provide?
All meals, camping gear, fresh drinking water, experienced local guides, crocodile cruise, air conditioned 4WD and a sense of humour.
How many people will be on the tour?
A maximum of 9 passengers per tour. We also use our own boats for the crocodile cruise so no big crowds on the river. Just 9 of you and your guide.
I'm Vegetarian - is that going to be a problem for you?
No worries. Please advise us at the time of booking if you require a vegetarian diet or if you have any other special dietary needs.
I'm really unfit - is that OK?
Kakadu 4WD Safaris are designed for fit, energetic people specifically between the ages of 18 - 35. If your idea of exercise is raising your beer can to your mouth 10 times in rapid succession, then this tour probably isn't for you!
I stuffed my leg on the dance floor last week - will that matter?
Yes it will! You can't climb to the top of Jim Jim Falls with your leg in plaster. Extend your credit card limit, relax by the pool for another 3 weeks and then make your booking!
I can see people swimming in your photos? Is that safe with all those crocodiles around?
Put your complete trust in our guides. With their vast experience of the areas you will be visiting, they know all the safe swimming spots. They'll also show you those big crocs up close from the safety of our purpose built croc-spotting boat.
How many crocodiles does it take to change a light bulb?
Hey - get serious here - we can't believe you just clicked on that question... :)
